ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Connie

Connie Bosted

“I have spent 22 years with children in many aspects: babysitting for friends and family, church nursery, nanny for  multiple families (WA and CA), preschool teacher and being an aunt. I have an  Advanced BS in Early Childhood Development with Kaplan University and a Masters in Early Education with emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction. I have 14 nieces and three nephews who are always fun to be around; lots of laughter and squeals. I come from a big, loud family with lots of siblings and many great memories of childhood. When not working, I like to read, be crafty and eat delicious treats.

“I love working with children; they are always full of life, questions, and curiosity which makes the time together special and full of great learning moments.  I create my own curriculum, based on the set preschool standards, and enjoy the creativity each child brings or obtains from each lesson as they put their own, special spin on our learning or activity.

“Thank you for the opportunity to provide an avenue of learning for your child during these formidable years!”

Over 80% of kids attending our program walk into Kindergarten with almost all of the Kindergarten end-year goals met on the first day!

Each month preschool has a different theme, of which everything we learn, including art and science, is correlated.  In each class we discuss three alphabet letters, one number, and a shape and color each month. Preschool also includes a weekly gymnastics class which helps build all the students large motor skills and balance.

In preschool, we LOVE to celebrate!  We celebrate birthdays and holidays and for our two older classes, we celebrate one-star student a week.  We go on three field trips a year and have many wonderful members in our community join us. Ted Brown Music provides us with a monthly music appreciation lesson where all the students learn about different instruments, music and composers and we love when we get a visit from our Benton County Sheriff!
