An award-winning program
All American Gymnastics is the best-performing team in the Tri-Cities for the last three years. Click here to see our state results from this year. Read more about our program and then click the button below to join the All American family.
In recent years, we have switched from following the classic Junior Olympic competitive levels, which range from 1-10, and started an Xcel program. Xcel is the most recent way to train and compete within USA Gymnastics. A great aspect of the Xcel program is it allows more flexibility to tailor to the individual gymnasts, rather than having everyone compete the exact same routine to the exact same music.
Xcel Silver corresponds to the skills required of Junior Olympic level 3. This is the first competitive level we have and they practice for six hours per week.
Xcel Gold corresponds to the skills required of Junior Olympic levels 4-5 and some level 6 skills. These gymnasts practice for 12 hours each week.
The optional team starts with Xcel Platinum and continues all the way up through level 10. Beyond Level 10 is Elite, which include the gymnasts you see performing on TV. Optionals choose their own floor routine music and choreography, using the skills required for their respective competition levels. These gymnasts practice at least 16 hours per week.
Throughout the year, we run two pre-team programs. One is for five and six-year-olds and the other is for those who are seven and older. We feel it is important to give those two separate age groups the attention they need. At the moment, our five and six-year-olds only practice a minimum of one hour per week, but that will slowly increase over the next few months in order to prepare them for the minimum of six hours per week Xcel Silver gymnasts practice. The goal of the class is to prepare all the students so they are able to participate in the next competition season with the team. The competition season is from January to the end of April each year. For a more thorough description of both pre-team programs, please click on “Classes” in the top menu.
If you are interested in joining one of the pre-team classes, please call, email or speak with us in person at the front desk about it and we’d be happy to help your child take their love for the sport further.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns about the team in general, please call 509.783.9036 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All American Gymnastics has trained an award-winning competitive gymnastics team since the gym was founded 10 years ago. Many of our competitive gymnasts have gone on to become state and/or regional champions. Currently, our program is run by head coach and co-owner AJ Schneider.
